Erwin, TN - $5 1929 Ty. 1 Erwin National Bank Ch. # 10583 PMG Very Fine 20.Although it opened its doors in 1914, this small eastern Tennessee bank chose to issue Series 1929 examples only. This moderately circulated and solid $5 is one of a dozen notes in the census but the only one of that number to have crossed the public auction block in the past 25 years.
