Description
Disarmed Exploding Dye Pack Not Graded PCGS Banknote Genuine.This lot contains a hollowed-out pack of $20s that has been sewn together. This pack was modified so that it could hide an exploding dye cartridge and therefore stain both the stolen cash and the bank robber(s). This pack would be mixed in with the cash to be given out by a teller in the event of a robbery. These $20s are unredeemable as more than 50% of each note has been removed. This example was manufactured by 3SI according to PCGS Banknote. Model number is CE910-DUAL and was "designed in Korea" and "made in China." It is housed in a clear PCGS Banknote pack holder and PCGS Banknote launched their pack grading service on June 7, 2022. Pack grading is currently only available for U.S. small size notes in the quantities of a complete full pack of 100 notes or half packs of 50. This interesting novelty item is not graded.
