Group of Half Dozen Boston Contemporary Counterfeits.Boston Bank Counterfeit $5 Sep. 24, 1814 C64 Very Good-Fine;
New England Bank Counterfeit $3 Mar. 1, 1820 Very Good;
State Bank Counterfeit $3 Sep. 10, 1827 C78 Fine;
Suffolk Bank Counterfeit $3 Apr. 16, 1818 C60 Very Good-Fine;
Union Bank Counterfeit $5 May 13, 1823 Fine;
Bank of the United States, Boston Branch Counterfeit $10 Jan. 6, 1829 Very Good-Fine.
Most all of these contemporary counterfeits have problems such as tears, missing pieces, stains, pinholes, etc. Nonetheless, a nice grouping from Beantown. (Total: 6 notes)
