Connecticut May 10, 1770 5s Uncancelled PCGS Banknote Extremely Fine 40 Details.
Radar serial number 2552. Signed by John Chester, William Pitkin, and Benjamin Payne. By order of the Assembly at Hartford. Imprint of "New London: Printed by Timothy Green 1770." Most of these 1770 notes are cancelled and the typical grade is Very Good to low-end Very Fine. This note is far superior on both counts, fully deserving of the Extremely Fine grade and uncancelled. PCGS Banknote cites "Small Edge Repairs." An exceptional example from the Ford collection.
