Fr. 37a $1 1917 Legal Tender PMG Choice About Unc 58.The scarce and popular Burke-Elliot variety with the Treasurer's signature appearing on the left and the Register's signature appearing on the right instead of in the correct layout. This engraving error was printed from only one incorrectly engraved plate during the month of September, 1920, and was discovered soon after the notes were released into circulation.
