Lexington, NC- Bank of Lexington $5 Mar. 1, 1861 PMG Extremely Fine 40.The central vignette of Ceres and Commerce on this pretty $5 Obsolete was also utilized on the T6 Confederate Treasury Note of 1861. This representative sits atop the PMG Population Report and is very infrequently seen in this condition. PMG mentions a small tear at upper right.
