Fr. 111 $10 1880 Legal Tender PMG Good 6 Net. This design is referred to as a "Jackass Note" because when it is viewed upside down, the eagle morphs into a jackass. Speculation is that a disgruntled Democrat engraver performed this sleight of hand during the Grant Administration. Pieces missing listed on the label refer to the bottom right corner.
