East Haddam, CT - The Bank of New England at Goodspeed's Landing $1 18__ RemainderThe detailed central vignette on this remainder illustrates the sidewheeler City of Hartford steaming by the town. This bank operated from 1853-65 and became the National Bank of New England of East Haddam on July 22, 1865, charter number 1480. The bank was liquidated on June 27, 1905. Extremely Fine-About Uncirculated.
