Description

Spain Banco de la Coruna 100 Reales de Vellon 18xx (ND 1857) Pick S301 Very Fine-Extremely Fine.
A Coruña, a town in Galicia in northern Spain, was serviced by notes such as this in the mid 19th century. This interesting pink banknote could be a Remainder, as it is lacking a full date and signatures. The diagonal tear is similar to that of the other denominations also offered in auction today. Although the note is split and rejoined, it is otherwise decent. All notes from this issuer are very scarce today. The first we have offered.
