Description
Spain Banco de Espana 500 Pesetas 1940 (ND 1945) Pick 119a PMG Extremely Fine 40.An example printed in Italy after the conclusion of the Spanish Civil War. These were authorized by the government of Francisco Franco, who probably still had a contract with the Italian printer. However, a Madrid place of issue is seen. Minor repairs are noted for accuracy.
