Spain Banco de Espana 20 Escudos 1.1.1866 Pick UNL Remainder PCGS Very Choice New 64.A nice high grade example of the 20 Escudos from this mid 1800s short series. Curiously, the Bank of Spain issued a plethora of banknote series from 1856 to 1873, with all being withdrawn by the inception of the First Republic. Third party grading company mentions residue on face and a tiny pinhole, but that does not negate that any surviving note from this era is extremely scarce. Please note, this remainder is misattributed on the PCGS holder as a Specimen.
