Pick A123Bs Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.An extremely scarce denomination in Specimen format from the 1921 Sundial Series of the China and South Sea Bank. Issued examples remain unconfirmed. This piece marks only the third example registered in the PMG Population Report. This bank was founded by overseas Chinese from Indonesia in 1921 with notes from this issue being printed by the American Banknote Company. The vignette of the sundial on a stone plinth is highlighted by the vibrant red, orange, and green inks. Both excellent centering and original paper are seen along with red Specimen overprints and two POCs.
