Canada St. John's, NF- Government of Newfoundland $1 2.1.1920 NF-12d PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45 EPQ.This handsome British Colonial note is desirable in any grade, and is seldom offered in anything close to this grade. Only brief circulation is seen atop original paper and good color. The manuscript signature of C.F. Renouf is accompanied by a printed signature of H.J. Brownrigg. One of the best examples to appear in recent years and worthy of consideration. Newfoundland did not join Canada until 1949, making this a British Colonial type, as it was issued in 1920. Scarce and desirable, with a nice portrait of King George V.
