French Front and Back Proofs PCGS Currency Superb Gem New 67PPQ;
Superb Gem New 68PPQ.A pair of uniface face and back Proofs mounted on cardstock, these two pieces reflect the 1935 $1000 French design version as put into production except for the color. A handwritten annotation, contemporary to the production of these notes, that the color is wrong and should have been Olive 85 instead of Olive 5. By their very nature, these Proofs are rare and wonderful collateral pieces for any Canadian collection. (Total: 2 notes)
