Ecuador Monte Cristy 50 Centavos 1888 Pick Unlisted Specimen.An example that should be considered a Specimen due to the existence of an all zero serial number and fully completed printing. This is the first time we have featured such a note, and one of very few notes for Ecuador that was issued by a City Council instead of a private bank or the central bank. An attractive vignette is seen to the left of this small denomination, which was never issued. An interesting and probably discovery piece. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.
