A perfectly preserved Specimen issued for the Philippines during Japanese occupation. The Rizal Monument, commemorating the national hero who fought against the Spanish for Philippine independence, is seen on the face. Because the Japanese tried to gain acceptance for their "Mickey Mouse" notes, they used the image.
