Description
Syria Banque de Syrie et du Liban 5 Livres 1948 Pick 62s Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.Bold bright inks were utilized to create this post-WWII Specimen. This note is graded near the top of the PMG Population Report of 16 examples. This Pick variety is the same as Pick 36 from the 1920s, but instead of French on the back, one finds Arabic. Intricate designs enhance the face, and Azm Palace in Damascus is depicted on the back. Two star-shaped POCs are present on this example.
