Postally Cancelled 1976 District Star Set and More $2 1976 FRNs Fourteen Examples.A postally cancelled star set of Bicentennial deuces where the notes were either cancelled on April 13, 1976 or July 4, 1976. Even though the Bicentennial fell on a Sunday, a few post offices were open on that day for commemoration purposes. This lot includes a star note from each district plus two extras for St. Louis. We will let the specialists study our scan of this lot for any better serials or cancellations. Very Fine or better with many being CU. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
