Cuba Republica de Cuba 1000 Pesos 6.9.1869 Pick 60 PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45.A fantastic "revolutionary" issue from the Ten Years War. This was the highest denomination of the series, and it is rarely seen today, especially in this outstanding grade. All details are quite clear and visually pleasing. The embossed seal and manuscript writing are both fresh. Ultimately, President Cespedes was not victorious in his fight for independence from Spain, but he is still regarded as a hero in Cuba.
