15F PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.A stunning and rare variety of this 20 Francs denomination to find in the best of collector grades. In fact, at the time of cataloging, this is the single finest graded example in the PMG Population Report and the only example grading higher than Choice About Uncirculated 58. Nine different 20 Francs banknotes were issued between 1940 and 1950, all bearing the same design, but with different color schemes, dates, and emission numbers. Gem Uncirculated examples are rare no matter the variety, but it seems that this date is especially challenging to find in the very best of grades.
