Fr. 1951-L* $5 1928A Federal Reserve Star Note. PCGS Banknote Very Fine 30.PCGS Banknote has not graded a single example equal or higher. PMG has graded just one equal and none higher with a total population of six. Track & Price lists seven different serial numbers for Fr. 1951-L* and that does not include the note in this lot. All seven listed in T&P have been graded by PMG with the sole highest grade being a 30. We auctioned a PMG 25 in September 2024 for $900. We also auctioned two different PMG 25 pieces in 2021 and they brought $1,680 in January and $1,500 in April. Among all these informational sources, no Fr. 1951-L* has been graded higher than a VF 30.
