Excellent Color $100 Gold
Fr. 2405 $100 1928 Gold Certificate. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64
EPQ.A $100 Gold that has not yet been documented in the Track & Price census due to our consignor purchasing it a long time ago. It displays excellent color and paper originality. It has recently been crossed over from a PCGS 64PPQ holder into its current PMG 64 EPQ residence. PMG has graded only four equal and six higher according to the PMG Population Report. Also, the EPQ grade modifier is hard to earn at the 64 grade level as PMG has examined a total of eleven Fr. 2405 notes grading 64 with only four of the examples earning EPQ for exceptional paper quality. January 2025 saw us auction a PCGS 64PPQ for $9,000 and we would not be surprised if the note in this lot eclipses that result.
