Uncirculated 55.1934 $1,000s from the Minneapolis district have long been notoriously difficult to locate for collectors, which should come as no surprise as a minuscule issuance of 12,000 notes were printed for this district. This bright and attractive example is comment-free and has the appearance of an Uncirculated note. During our 2024 Long Beach Signature Auction, we offered a PMG 50 graded Fr. 2211-I which realized exactly $5,040.
