Colorful and Exciting "S" Experimental
Fr. 1610* $1 1935A S Silver Certificate. PCGS Banknote Choice
Unc 64 PPQ.The "R" and "S" Experimental notes were issued to test new paper against a control. The print runs were small, but 1,184,000 notes each. The replacement notes were printed in much smaller quantities, only 12,000 each. With a surviving population measured in the dozens, each example is special, let alone this nicely embossed and beautifully colored 64 PPQ.
