Arguably one of the most spectacular of all Chinese banknotes. The intricate design elements and color schemes are stunning, which makes this remainder appeal to collectors worldwide. It is most likely true that no banknotes that were printed for the Peiyang Tientsin Bank were ever issued. Therefore, remainders and Specimen are probably the only formats available to collectors. This example is completely original, and at the time of cataloging, it is bettered by one single note in the PMG Population Report.
