Fr. 1082b $100 1914 Red Seal Federal Reserve Note PMG Extremely
Fine 40.This is a beautiful example of a very rare Dallas $100 Red Seal that is the finest of just eight pieces reported for this Friedberg number, two of which are locked away in institutional collections. Last on the market in a 2012 auction, it is a quite lovely note with the look of a much higher grade within its PMG holder. In fact, it was once called AU by another auction house. It is well margined with bright paper and ideal ink colors. It is clearly superior to the PMG Very Fine 30 example that brought over $30,000 in our last Central States auction. If you desire and can afford the very best, this is the note for you.
