F.E. Spinner Signed Check. This check is drawn on the Mohawk Valley Bank of Mohawk, New York. Spinner was the cashier there before moving on later to become the Treasurer of the United States. He signs this check with his distinctive signature. The check is dated July 12, 1848 and it is for $367.23. This is a neat collateral item for the Fractional collector.
