63.This nicely margined example of this very popular Educational Five boasts strong ink colors on both face and back and plenty of eye appeal. It represents the more available of the three Friedberg numbers for the design and is, therefore, sought after for a type set. This type is considered by most to be the single most alluring design in all of United States currency and one look at this note confirms this. A perusal of auction records reveals that we recently offered a PMG About Unc 55 example which realized $10,500. Last year, an identically graded piece fetched $12,600 at auction.
