Fr. 119 $10 1901 Legal Tender PCGS Banknote Choice Unc
64.The Fr. 119 note in this lot is an excellent representative of the Bison type. Traces of serial number and Treasury Seal embossing remain on this example. Printed on brilliant white paper, the note maintains wonderful, rich color and eye appeal. Natural paper wave ripples across this piece. As this is a plate D example, it would have been the last note on a sheet of four notes. We auctioned an example certified at the CU 64 level by PMG in January 2025 which realized $7,800. We would not be surprised if that figure is outdistanced tonight for this stunning $10 Legal Tender.
