PPQ.One of the more difficult Bison Friedbergs to locate at the Uncirculated grade level, this wonderful Fr. 116 has earned every bit of the assigned Choice Unc 64 PPQ grade from PCGS Banknote. It has now been close to six years since we last offered a 64 graded Fr. 116, and now that wait is finally over. The beauty found in this lot is the second highest graded example by PCGS Banknote, bested by just a single example at the 65 PPQ level. Collectors who have been searching for this scarce number should take advantage of this opportunity, lest they wait another five years before another crosses the auction block. Importantly, two other examples of this Friedberg number in this auction, bearing serial numbers B2884022 and B2884023, form a consecutive trio with this lot. An opportunity not to be missed!
