Fr. 1214 $100 1882 Gold Certificate PCGS Banknote Very Fine 30.Broad margins and bold orange back color are both hallmarks of this $100 Gold which is an excellent representative of the type. At right of the portrait of Senator Thomas Hart Benton is a small red Treasury Seal. PCGS Banknote mentions a small purple ink stamp on the back of the note which was likely applied by a teller or financial institution.
