Fr. 309 $20 1880 Silver Certificate PMG Very Fine 20
Net.A very scarce Friedberg number with just 60 pieces recorded, and particularly so in the VF grade range. This note features evenly circulated paper and color that is bolder than what is typically on the other notes in this grade range. The net grade is derived from an expertly repaired upper-left corner which is not readily apparent and offers little distraction from the overall presentation. In our recent FUN auction, we sold another PMG Very Fine 20 example with a few impairments for $4,320.
