Fr. 233* $1 1899 Silver Certificate Star PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.A lovely Black Eagle star with balanced margins, this piece first gained the attention of collectors at a Lester Merkin auction in October 1972. Its next stop was in a March 1981 Hickman-Oakes auction. It would make a later appearance at our May 2002 auction. Now, it is back for a repeat engagement with us.
