Bright XF Morgan Silver Dollar Back $5
Fr. 261 $5 1886 Silver Certificate PMG Extremely Fine
40.Our current XF offering of this desirable type displays even margins and a bold large scalloped US Treasury Seal on the face. An attractive green back, which showcases the obverse of an 1886 Morgan Silver Dollar at center flanked by two examples of the reverse at both left and right, is one of the note's main attractions. The silver dollar back was the first for large size notes to incorporate "In God We Trust" as part of its layout, with the exception of 1882 Brown Backs from the state of Florida. Though PMG mentions pinholes and minor stains, this note remains an excellent representative of a well-known design.
