Fr. 30 $1 1880 Legal Tender PCGS Banknote Gem Unc 66 PPQ.A previously unreported Fr. 30, this example has wonderful color on both sides. When the note was flipped over for our inspection of the back, our eyes were immediately drawn to the embossed stars of the Treasury seal. This plate letter C piece has a partial plate number 70 at bottom center within the margin. The back plate number is also 70, and it is located at the top of the unprinted area.
