Fr. 893b $10 1914 Red Seal Federal Reserve Note PMG Gem
Uncirculated 66 EPQ.From the New York district comes a gorgeous example of this type "b" Red Seal issue that is tied with four other notes as the finest graded by PMG. This piece boasts all the elements one wants in a high end type note, from large margins and deeply printed devices to a bold red overprint. In our 2021 Long Beach auction, we sold a PCGS Gem New 65PPQ example, just nine serials away from this offering, for $7,200. PMG comments "Great Embossing."
