Choice New 63PPQ Star - One of Three Known
Fr. 855b* $5 1914 Federal Reserve Star Note PCGS Choice New
63PPQ.A rare star that has been stuck on the same three documented serial numbers as far back as 1999. We originally auctioned this star note in May 1999, and it is just as beautiful today, with dark inks and evident paper originality. We offered the only other uncirculated example ten years ago at our 2013 Central States auction where it realized $17,625. That note is consecutive to tonight's offering and graded PMG 66 EPQ.
