Rocky Mount, VA - $20 1902 Plain Back Fr. 650 The First National Bank Ch. # (S)6685 PCGS Banknote Very Fine 25 Details.
Rocky Mount had two issuers, one which is rather common while the other is a bit more difficult to locate. This $20 is from the scarcer bank and is one of just six notes reported from a large-only charter that was only in business from 1903 until 1926. It is an evenly circulated piece with pleasing color although the stamped signatures have been crudely redrawn.
