Tottenville, NY - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The Tottenville National Bank
Ch. # 8334 PMG Very Fine 25.This is a great offering from this very rare Staten Island bank that is the sole 1929 Series example reported from this charter. This was the sole issuer in this community located at the extreme southern tip of Staten Island, and it maintained a minimal circulation of just $10,000 until 1935. Last on the market in a 2008 auction, it is a pleasing mid-grade example with nary a problem save honest wear. This note is certainly a key to completing a set of small size notes from the Empire State.
