Barnwell, SC - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 606 The First National Bank Ch. # (S)11287 PMG Very Fine 25 EPQ.This is a very scarce note from an obscure South Carolina bank that operated for only five years before collapsing in 1924 as a result of the agricultural depression of the 1920s. It is just about the finest of the seven survivors reported and exhibits bold ink colors, dark stamped signatures, and original surfaces.
