Description

Electra, TX - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 628 The First National Bank Ch. # 10050 PCGS Banknote Very Fine 20.
A scarce north Texas bank, this charter issued large notes only between 1911 and its liquidation in 1929 and was not represented at all in the massive Philpott and Irish collections. This offering is one of just seven pieces reported from this community's sole issuer and it is making its first public appearance since a 2014 auction. It is an evenly circulated and solid note with good color and legible signatures.
