Edna, TX - $10 1902 Date Back Fr. 617 The Allen National Bank Ch. # (S)8123 PMG Very Fine 25.Three notes are known from this excessively rare private name bank, which was the sole issuer in this small Jackson County location. However, of that three, one is locked away in an institutional collection while just one of the other two notes has been publicly available in the past 25 years. Therefore, this new entrant to the census provides a great opportunity for today's collectors to obtain this rare charter. It is an attractive, pen-signed Date Back with excellent color and even wear.
