Warren, RI - $5 1875 Fr. 401 The First National Bank Ch. # 673 PMG Very Fine 25.The first of this community's three banks, all of which were liquidated on the same day in 1904 after issuing First Charters and Brown Backs only. This is one of only two 1875 $5s reported from this charter that has only a dozen or so notes overall listed in the census. It is bright and attractive with bold ink colors and dark pen signatures. Some stains that have been lightened have been noted by PMG.
