Fr. 278 $5 1899 Silver Certificate PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.Natural paper wave and excellent color are observed on this $5 Silver. The margins on all four sides are wide for the grade. Friedberg 278 has the face plate number in two different positions. The Type I variety displays the plate number directly below the left plate letter, while this Type II example has the plate number to the immediate right of the right plate letter. Type I examples have plate numbers 225-324 and Type II pieces have plate numbers 325-426. This Type II note has plate number 368.
