Sayre, OK - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The Beckham County National Bank Ch.
# 9976 PMG Very Fine 20.This great Oklahoma rarity comes from a Beckham County bank that maintained only a minimal circulation of $6,250 from its opening in 1911 until the end of the note-issuing period in 1935. To date, just two small size (and no large) are listed in the National Currency Foundation census from this very rare bank. This offering is the only one of the known pair to have ever made a public appearance and that last occurrence was in our 2012 Central States auction. This "must have" for any Oklahoma collector exhibits just even, problem free wear.
