Laurinburg, NC - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The First National Bank Ch. #
5651 PMG Very Fine 30.An extremely rare note from this one bank community, which is the county seat of Scotland County and located virtually on the border with South Carolina. Only 556 sheets of small size notes, all tens, were issued before the bank closed late in 1930, with just two notes surviving today. This is by far the nicer of the pair. It is a beautiful, well margined piece with just a handful of light folds.
