Vicksburg, MS - $50 1902 Date Back Fr. 668 The Merchants
National Bank Ch. # (S)3430 PMG Very Fine 20 EPQ.This is an excessively rare type and denomination for this Deep South state as tonight's offering is just the fourth 1902 $50 Date Back to be reported for all Mississippi banks. It is also just the seventh large size to be reported from this tough Vicksburg charter. Fortunately for collectors, it is a bright mid-grade piece that features nice colors and original surfaces.
