Fr. 41a $2 1862 Legal Tender PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.Fr. 41a is considerably scarcer of the two major Friedberg numbers for the 1862 $2 Legals. PMG has graded a total of 160 examples of Fr. 41a, compared to well over 500 for Fr. 41. This is an exceptionally attractive example with excellent color and bright, white paper. It likely missed out on an EPQ designation solely because of a solitary pinhole.
