Greenville, MS - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 470 The First National
Bank Ch. # 3765 PMG Choice Fine 15.This is a wonderful new addition to the census of this Mississippi issuer that is an attractive $5 Brown Back with an appealing "Circus Poster" bank title layout. This is the fourth such pieces to be reported from this charter and the first to appear on the market since 2006. PMG has mentioned a minor restoration, but otherwise, this is a bright and crisp note with excellent color and dark pen signatures. It also becomes just the twentieth example of this type and denomination to be reported from this Deep South state.
