Whitehall, NY - $5 1882 Date Back Fr. 534 The Merchants National Bank Ch. # (E)2233 PMG Choice Very Fine 35.A very scarce type and denomination from this Washington County bank, and a worthy companion to the lovely $5 First Charter offered above. This note, which is one of only two 1882 Date Backs known from the bank, was obtained privately by Dick from your cataloguer forty five years ago and is new to the census. Bright, vividly colored and pen signed, it's a note which is certain to delight its fortunate new owner.
